Vulcanooooo! Before we change scenes, we find a mysterious tribe has turned animal as they visit their temple! The perspective in that panel is still very off, and I know why, but it's stylish at least.
Exactly one thousand years later, we find a volcano, normally dormant, about to erupt! These very detailed prologue pages are a great way for me to experiment with color, as seen here.
